Global Literature Synthesis Report: Recent Canadian Research on Migrant Integration using Administrative Data

This report provides a scoping review of some recent Canadian research (from 2015) that uses administrative data to study the integration experiences of immigrants to Canada. The report first provides a brief outline of Canadian policy on migrant integration, and then identifies five key areas of research focused on by scholars of migrant integration: internal mobility, health, transitions from temporary to Permanent Resident status, occupational fit and experience, and economic adaptation. The report summarises key findings across these five areas of research, and then analyzes these findings.
